So mid-terms are officially over and I feel pretty good. Italian test went well- Im predicting a B. Im in the computerlad at school so no pictures on this post. Time to figure out what Im going to do this week. The teacher I play basketball with, Damiano, invited me to go mushroom hunting with him either this weekend or next so that should be fun, a very Italian experience. Amsterdam with some of my roommates is also in the works as well as Paris or Venice with Brittany. When postcards come in everyone should let me know so I know how long it takes to get there. I also turned in my articles for the FUA and Apicius newsletter (http://www.apicius.it/studentservices/FUAapicius/blending.html) and am putting pictures together to turn in for the photo competition. If you have a favorite photo email me and tell me and Ill put the ones with the most recommendations up for a vote. Ill post later with some pics. Last night my roommates and I had a potluck style dinner with other Apicius students that turned out really well. I mate patate Ripiene which is pretty much the Italian version of twice baked potatoes. Everyone made a dish and it turned out excellent.
These pics are from me and my roommate Jason messing around with his mac.

Amsterdam, reminds me of a time we were shopping in safeway and ran into Forrest.
Congratulations on completing your exams. I'm sure you did well.
Mushroom hunting with an expert--a chance to see the woods and learn about fungi!! That's nice, Sean.
A potluck with culinary arts students would be a sublime place to graze. Did you feel any pressure?
Amsterdam, reminds me of Takhini Hot Springs. We were taking a break from the long road trip and went into the restaurant before soaking in the springs (which you, Ian and Alex discovered had leeches in some spots). The waiter asked you, "Would you like soup or salad?" You handed back the menu and gravely replied, "Yes, I'll have the super-salad please."
Good job sean. I really liked some of your night pictures of Florence. Some warm Mediterainian sun sounds really nice.
