Hello little brother! I had the pleasure of meeting your nephew this past weekend. He's doing really good and is fun to sit with. The location they are in is very peaceful and relaxing. It's nice to just sit with Ian and Christen--but then we would all jump when Eli moved and we would coo over him stretching or making a noise.

We spent the past weekend in Anchorage, it was a nice family trip visiting family and eating...which I told Bill is the best way to spend a weekend in my book. I'm really noticing how all of our family members are leaving Fairbanks. It makes a big difference to me and I'm sad about that. Not that I want you all to come back, it just means we have to be able to visit!

I'm going to make the eggplant this week...sounds wonderful and I've never made it. Will you send me directions?

Last night we got back from Anchorage to a whole yard full of snow...you don't miss that! Snow boots and snow pants are in short supply in town right now so I have to do some internet shopping...Ella had to wear my snowpants to school today and you know that's not cool!

I'm looking forward to more information about your wine tour and Octoberfest. I didn't take the poll because I don't have just one part that I like best, I like it all!

So I have to ask, will you have Halloween there?

Love you! Meadow

What kind of fish do you find in the market? The cheese selection looked fantastic!!!
