Final Week

This week we had our practical finals in the cooking classes. Monday we made tiramisu and gelato, Tuesday we had to make up recipes again. I made a pasta di mare or seanfood pasta with mussels, calamari and a white wine sauce as well as a rosemary chicken and potato dish. Wednesday we made squid ink risotto with calamari. All the dishes turned out well. We had our reviews in Italian and nutrition classes as well. Next week we have the going away party at a discotech that the school reserved. There is also three days where the school is turned into a restaurant and all the students particpate. The masters class made a menu and is making the food. Everyone else is either serving, doing dishes, hosting or other restaurant jobs. Everything is still going very well (except for the internet being out at the apartment.)
